April has been a very productive month on the project – keeping pace with the excellent sawmill and planer mill performance for the period. Highlights include:

 

· The building foundation and steel frame (complete with purlins and girts) are finished. Installation of the roof and wall cladding has begun.

· The moulder is installed on its second floor base along with the following equipment: slowdown belt, landing and backlog tables, lug loader and grading stations.

· The Ram-Tech spill table and storage transfer for the in-feed have arrived and are being installed.

· The packaging line equipment has been removed from the Weyerhaeuser Okanagan Falls mill, transported to our site and is being installed

· The internal rooms for bathrooms, storage, electrical, carpenter, and millwrights shops have been erected. Wiring trays are installed with wiring to begin shortly.

 

All signs show the solid progress will continue into May.
