Happy Father’s Day

The project site continues to be a flurry of activity with carpenters, electricians, welders, millwrights all working diligently to get the mill running by early July. Much of the progress has been less visible in nature but very impressive nonetheless. Accomplishments this month include:

· The roof over the main building is complete

· Transformer and PDC have been installed

· The electrical and network wiring nearing completion with plans to be powered up in two              weeks

· The moulder feed table and bridge from TDS Technologies (Ram-Tech) have been              installed

· The  tray feeder, trays and tipple from Mill-Tech have arrived. The feeder is in place. The trays and tipple will be put in once the package line installation is complete.

Demand for Product is beginning to increase immensely.  Traditionally the markets for our products become much stronger as we head into the spring and the summer.  Orders on boards have moved from prompt on most items to 4 weeks.  With the start up of the Super Thundermac about 4-5 weeks away the increase in production will be a welcome addition, not to mention anything about the quality improvements.  We realize the product off the new machine is highly anticipated and the startup itself will cause an increase in demand.  We are asking all our customers to give us as much lead time as possible moving into these new times.  Pattern stock has also moved from 1-2 weeks to 4-5 weeks.  We will be moving to two full shifts on the moulder with a third shift end matching constantly.  They have also placed an order for a new moulder, which will give them twice the throughput speed of their current moulder line.  With change being one of the keys to success, we are on the road to becoming the premier ESLP board supplier.
